The Disco Short
The Disco Short. Still made in Los Angeles. Still Sweatshop-free. These iconic shorts are high waisted and form fitting. Constructed out of a USA-made, durable, shiny Nylon/Spandex fabric of traditional sportswear quality. We've made a few modifications to this style for an improved look-- we've added a little bit of length for added wearability and a more contouring appearance throughout the hips. The rise has also be slightly reduced giving a fuller look from the back.
Made in Los Angeles, Calif.
Our experienced sewers earn up to $25 an hour and no less than $17.28; additionally workers have healthcare benefits for less than $15 per week, a 401k plan, paid sick days, subsidized bus passes and favorable overtime benefits.

Even though I ordered true to the size chart, the waistband is loose and I'm exchanging for a large. The shorts are stretchy and made well but the buttonhole was quite small.
I LOVE THEM
I was worried purchasing shorts online, considering the price.I have wide hips and a smaller waist comparatively, but I've been eyeballing these shorts for literal years. I messaged them and got help with sizing, they were very responsive and helpful. The shorts are great! They fit perfectly around my waist, and stretch enough to look great around my butt and hips, without giving it the "pancake effect". I'm taking them with me to Vegas next month and I am stoked. Great investment, so happy I pulled the trigger.

Not the same
Very sad to see the pattern has changed from the old America apparel disco shorts. The inseam has been drastically lengthened. These when from cheeky little hot pants to awkwardly long shorts. Very unflattering at the new length. Not sure why this change was made, but I had to return these.
