Fantastic Shorts, Really Cute!

Long review because I love these so much! I've been looking for shorts like these ever since the original high-waist Soffe Slicks nylon shorts were discontinued. Just received my first pair of these shorts in Cerise, and I'm so happy with them! The style is perfect with a loose, 90s fit and high waist. The inseam length is also perfect, short but not too short, and the tiny v-notch at the outside of the leg openings is just the right length. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they have a drawstring at the waist. The Cerise is a lovely shade of pink, and the nylon material for this color is exactly what I was hoping for! They are a nice weight, the perfect amount of shiny, and wonderfully smooth and slick. The side pockets are a nice feature as well. I would request for the Royal Blue to be back in stock in this same type of nylon material, and for these shorts to be offered in a bright red color also. It would also be nice to have an option for a version with a built-in brief/liner, but that is not absolutely necessary. I will definitely be ordering more of these in the future. Please never change or discontinue these shorts!

Fun shorts

I got size small based on the recommendations of others here and it was the right choice. At 5’6”, 27” waist and 126 pounds, I am between small and med usually. “Shadow” is an interesting shade of black. These shorts are voluminous! Fun to wear… :-)

Comfy, runs large

These are simple cute exercise shorts. Love the retro style. A bit overpriced tbh Run large (originally bought a size M, but was swimming in them which is curious because I have a booty!) I’d say size down from your usual LA apparel size

Still a stan

I love your stuff. Maybe I am too old, but I can’t seem to let go of my love for American Apparel. Best basics

Already trying to pick out what other colors I want because they are the best toss on shorts and the lack of liner makes them perfect for whatever I want to wear them with

Not for warm climates

First of all don’t listen to everyone saying these run small, they don’t at all. These are super cute and versatile but totallyyyy see through and since there is no lining, they make all the skin they cover super sweaty.

I’m originally purchased a M because I’m a size 4-6, and I tend to have a harder time fitting into shorts since my butt and hips are a little bigger. I ended up exchanging for a small and they still have a loose look without being unflattering. They don’t have any give so fitment can be tricky but you may want to consider sizing down especially if you ride between two sizes often. Anyways super cute and great quality!

these run way small nice shorts but the XL is equivalent to a women’s 8

Too expensive for what they are

These are super high waisted and comfy they do flare out at the bottoms a bit and don’t feel the quality reflects the price

New summer staple

Obsessed with these shorts. I ordered the biscuit and green - colors are fantastic. Will be wearing them all summer.
