Unfortunately these are completely the wrong size. I'm normally a 30-32 and these were 30/31 and would not come above my upper thighs. They looked like they were made for a tiny child. I loved the quality of these jeans and shape, and wished they weren't so comically off on sizing.

Perfect pant

Got the light wash last year and have lived in them since. Waited till fall to purchase the dark wash version and could not be happier!!

Exact measurements!

This is so rare in my shopping experience that I wasn't prepared for the jeans to fit as measured (side-eyes Madewell) that I figured I could select my true size and it would have some loose areas - nope! Excellent quality, but returning because I'm old and not ready to commit to the wide silhouette yet (I'm sure I'll be back here in a few months).

LOVE the fit, but the dye color is waay lighter in person

I usually wear a 27 or 28 but sized up to a 29 (w/27 innseam) after reading reviews and they fit PERFECTLY. Love the super high waist and the cut on the hips and leg is really nice. Got them in the dark wash and was surprised by how light they are in person-- much more of an 80's sort of medium-light wash than the nice dark wash shown in the pictures. Exchanging them for the non-denim version in another color since I so loved the fit, but the color just felt very mom jean-ish, which isn't my look.

Much Too Tight

I would have loved to fit into these but they were just too tight. According to the size chart, they should have fit. But in real life they seemed at least 2 sizes too small! Disappointing that the largest size this store carries seems to be an 8.

Sizing Issues

To be fair, this is not a review of the jeans themselves. The color is great and the cut is really nice. I really wanted them to work, but the sizing is just too wonky. Maybe it’s a me problem, but I’ve now had to return these twice. I’m usually a size 27 (5’5, 135 pounds). The 27 was really tight. So I tried a 29, and they were also too tight to comfortably sit in. I figured 30 must be the sweet spot, but they are huge!!

Best pants ever!

I got these in dark wash years ago and decided I liked the fit and got the light wash. The light wash in the pictures doesn't look the same as what you get but it's close enough I guess. If they came out with a mid wash I would buy it immediately. Please make more versions of this pant.

LOVE

I LOVE these jeans! The perfect high waisted wide leg Jean. I prefer hole-less denim and it can be hard to find. These fit so well and I usually have a lot of trouble fitting denim. The quality is amazing, I highly recommend! I would also recommend sizing up one or two sizes. It’s a bit difficult for me to tell right now because I am 2 months postpartum with my third, so I am usually a 26 pant, I’m fitting mostly 28s right now and these I needed a 29 and they are SNUG. But they definitely relax as you wear!

Dream Jeans

Gorgeous jeans! Sized up to a 30” waist (usually hover around a 28 -29” waist), and they’re the most flattering pair of jeans I’ve ever owned! Love them. The denim is more of a traditional texture with not a lot of stretch so they seem to keep their shape so far (it’s only been a week). The colour is a nice vintage blue. I ordered a 30W x 30L and they are significantly longer than another pair I ordered in the same size but a different colour.

Cute but not enough sizes

Very cute jeans. I ordered a size 30 because I’m a size 30 everywhere else but for some these were about 2 sizes to small for me :( Had to return them but I’d love to order them again when they’re more size inclusive.
