I’m usually a bigger size 6 leaning towards 6.5 so I got a size 7 and it was a perfect fit! I will wear these tons :)
Goes with everything, super comfy and cute. May have to get myself a back-up pair. Comes with a strong plasticky smell, so hope that that will fade over time.
When AA had its close out sale in 2017, I wanted to take advantage of it, and I needed shoes that I could walk in and that fit my tiny high arched size 5 feet without tearing up my feet’s thin skin, like many other shoes do. Since I wasn’t sure how they’d fit, and returns were not accepted due to the deep discounts, I chose clear. Pigs flew, because for the first time in my adult life, a shoe that wasn’t athletic fit great and looked nice. Since prices fell even more after that, I felt the need to buy a pair in most other colors. I now have a great shoe collection, even though they’re plastic and retro from the 1980s, when I saw them sold in bins at the front of supermarkets. Los Angeles Apparel, please sell the simple canvas sneakers once again, size 5 too! I paid $3 plus tax at one of the closing American Apparel stores for one pair, and wish that I’d bought more, because although it took a while to break them in, they were very walkable and appropriate for the gym. Now that the gyms are closed where I live, all I can do for exercise is walking around. However, after so much walking in them, they cracked in the heels. I would like to be able to replace those sneakers with the same size and type.
I've been waiting for these to come back forever!!!!! I'm a 7.5 and while a 7 does fit, the 8 is much more comfortable.
I almost purchased jellies back when the company was called American Apparel and oh man, my size was never available. So, after thinking the company was gone into thin air, I saw that these jellies were available, not the style I would’ve gone for normally but I’m really glad I went with them. SO FREAKING COMFORTABLE, with or without socks.. wore them for a couple days in a row with no achy feet. The only thing to consider is, when wearing without socks, the pattern shows on your skin as it indents. However, for how comfortable these shoes are, it doesn’t phase me. Totally wish y’all made a pink version, such as blush or mauve though, pink monochrome is basically all I wear.
