The Disco Pant
The Original Disco Pant. Still made in Los Angeles. Still sweatshop-free. These pants feature a classic high-rise waist and a form-fitting silhouette. Made from a durable, USA-made shiny nylon/spandex fabric that provides a smooth, sculpting fit.
Our experienced sewers earn up to $25 an hour and no less than $17.28; additionally workers have healthcare benefits for less than $15 per week, a 401k plan, paid sick days, subsidized bus passes and favorable overtime benefits.

the seems rip at the pockets
The seems ripped at the pockets immediately. Poor quality for the cost.
Great fit!
I’m 5’3, 160 and I ordered a large brown pair. They do have some stretch, but it’s a resistant stretch (the supportive kind); great tummy control as they are high waisted. The material is thick and vibrant in color, no fuzz, and lasts a long time with proper care. I’ve had the black ones for a couple of years. I wash on cold and hang/air dry. I wish they had more colors. They go quick, so if you see your size available, get them!

Not quite the same as AA disco pants
These are great, high quality pants. Compared to the original American Apparel disco pants, the cut of leg is slightly straighter and the rise is not quite as high, about an inch or two shorter. In my photo I’ve got the AA pants in purple on the right, and the Los Angeles Apparel pants on the left and you can see the LAA pants don’t come up as high.
Different cut
I really dislike the flare out on the bottom of the disco pant. The AA cut did not have this. ☹️

These are fab. I wear them with everything from bodysuits to turtlenecks to crop tops. The sizing is difficult to assess so as an fyi I’m a size 2/26 and I went with the medium. Probably could have fit into the small but they’re still tight and flattering. I wish they were skinny style instead of straight leg as they are a bit awkward to tuck into boots but otherwise absolutely love em.
