These jeans are made from our durable 14 oz 100% US grown cotton that mold to your curves the more you wear them and have a classic 5-pocket design. Love them!
I have a favorite pair of jeans from 2017 from AA and I am so glad I found these ones at LA. Donating my jeans that aren’t real denim and wearing these forever! Follow the size guide and you’ll get exactly what you need. Love the light wash, wish they came in black!!
Exactly what I was looking for
Spending $100+ on these is cheaper than $60 on 1 pair of Levis based on quality, what you are getting, style, fit, how long they'll last you. I'm really happy.
Great fitting jeans
I'm 5'6 with a 27 inch waist and 38" hips and the 28/28 fits perfectly. It's slightly up my butt but I think it's kind of cute. Amazing to find jeans that hug curves so well without any spandex.
Quality denim!
These jeans are very high quality and I like the fit of the tapered leg. I ordered the mid wash, and felt like it was a little bit lighter than expected but still very cute and trendy. I usually wear a size 26 to 28 in jeans, and sized up to a 31 which fit perfectly. There does seem to be a bit of extra fabric near the 'pooch' region, and initially I was going to return them because of the crotch feel and fit. But after wearing the jeans for a little while they seem to mold a bit better to my body and this extra fabric becomes less noticable. I would LOVE them in black! Please make them in black!
Perfect fit out of the bag
As a petite woman with a high waist to hip ratio, it’s difficult to find 100% cotton denim that fits both my waist and hips/butt and are the right length without needing alteration by a tailor. These fit perfectly right out of the package and I couldn’t be happier! My hips have grown in the past year meanwhile my waist has stayed the same size, so I was looking into 100% cotton denim that fit curvier women with higher waist/hip ratios, and was recommended these by the internet. Be sure to measure yourself before buying, as these have no stretch. 100% cotton denim is pretty stiff when you first buy them, so there is a break-in period, but they’re so worth the wait once you get there. Don’t be discouraged if they don’t fit in the waist immediately! 100% cotton denim will loosen in the waist by an inch or so, so the most important thing is that they fit you well in the hips and thighs when you buy them. Love these jeans so much, please make them in black!
Holy cow they run small
They're just what I've been looking for in terms of fit, but they run smaller than I expected. I'm normally 27-28 in Abercrombie jeans and I sized up to 29 in these jeans. I should've taken that other review more seriously because these are still really snug at the waist/stomach area. I would order 2-3 sizes up from your normal.
Almost perfect
Literally a 9/10 - I’m 5”8 length is perfect, feel is great and color is perfect onlyyyy gripe is the fupa are is a little puffy for me which makes uncomfortable but I love them regardless
Perfect, brings me back to 2009 ;) but they work now
I came up in American Apparel's heyday and always wanted a pair of their jeans. I was afraid these would be a bit too tight and not in step with how jeans look now but the fit is perfect, truly high-waisted (hard for me to find, high-waisted jeans usually come in a little below my real waist), and slightly loose where needed below. I'm 5'8", ~130 lb., and got a 27/31.
my perfect jeans
I was on a show and wardrobe dressed me in these jeans. I loved them so much I went and bought a pair myself! 10/10 I highly recommend! I got 26/31 I’m 5’8 and 117 lbs. and they fit great on me! These are great quality and I use them all the time! I’m thinking of buying another pair in a different color.
Best jeans ever
I ordered these to try them out with the intention if they weren’t perfect, I’d return them. But I love them so much. I ordered about two sizes up from my normal size just to make sure there was enough room for my thighs and butt. It’s a little big in the waist but that was expected. Overall such nice quality thick denim. Comfortable and so cute. Worth the money in my opinion.
