The Denim Loose short has a versatile fit in a classic silhouette. Size down for a more fitted look or try your regular size for everyday comfort that is still flattering. Made from rigid 14 oz 100% U.S. grown cotton, these jeans are durable yet comfortable. Made in the U.S.A., like it should be.

Excellent fit and exactly what I’ve been looking for
SIZE + COLOR
Go up 2 sizes, and the color shown in the medium wash short is closer to a light wash. Overall very flattering shorts just keep this in mind before purchasing.
Highly recommended
These they fit. I bought them as a replacement to my old pair, which I wore for three years. The quality and durability is extremely reliable and last for a very long time. The color consistency and fit holds up through various machine washes. I recommend the shorts to anyone who is looking for quality, long-term clothing items

Medium Wash
The first time I purchased I was sent shorts that looked way lighter than the photo. But after an exchange I was sent the right wash and I LOVE them. They feel like good quality and fit like other “curvy” shorts I’ve tried—no gaping waist & enough room in the legs(: *I was afraid of sizing up. I’m a 26, but I went w/a 27 since I wanted them to be a tad longer & they fit great, not too big.

Quality of the shorts are amazing but the size can be a hit or miss. I’d recommend sizing up 2 sizes from what you usually wear.

very true to size, a bit tight but the quality of denim makes sense for the tightness! it lowkey hurts a bit when i sit down for too long but i love them nonetheless.
Quality Denim!
Love these shorts! Thick, quality, real denim. I am 5’0, 135 pounds, my waist is 31.5 inches around, and I have a curvy build. I typically wear a size 8 / 29, but I read these run small so I purchased a 31 and I LOVE the way they fit! I definitely could have also fit into a 30, but it would have been a more fitted look, whereas the 31 gives a looser fit. I bought the dark medium color, and in person it appears lighter than pictured. Very satisfied with my order!
Perfect!
These are super high waisted, have a good hip to waist ratio, and are a little cheeky depending on the vantage point. I had to place multiple orders to figure out the sizing and washes on these, but finally settled on the dark medium wash and took a larger size. The washes were lighter in person, imo the dark-medium looks exactly like the medium looks online, and the medium was pretty light. For sizing, I'm 29.5" waist and 39" hip and size 30 was perfect. I'll definitely get the mid-length version in the future, too!
well made but unflattering fit
I don't know why I haven't learned my lesson yet with bottoms from LAA. For reference, my waist is 23.5", my hips are 34" and I ordered an xs. These sag off the *** and crotch while fitting my waist fine. The leg holes are so big that you can't crouch down or you risk exposing your underwear. The positive is the color is nice and the material feels substantial, they're definitely well-made. Maybe a better fit for those with small waists and curvy thighs, but I hate them on me.
