This style is thicker and more opaque than our classic bike short with a smooth luxurious hand-feel. Featuring a mid-thigh length and 1.5" elastic waistband that gives you a secure feeling all day long. I am 5'11, 165-170 lbs, and have an athletic build; team no waist, perfect peach, and toned legs. I am always in the gym and often wear Gymshark just to give you an idea of my body type. Overall, I love the Garment Dye Bike Shorts and the matching Garment Dye Crop Top. They hug your physique and are true to size - I ordered a Large in both the top and bottom. I love that the bottoms aren't too long or too short, they stop right at the perfect mid point. Fabric is super soft and comfortable. The black is the perfect shade of Black - no dusky. If you can't keep up with the SKIMS restocks - LA Apparel is perfect for quality staples - I've been shopping here since the American Apparel days so I love y'all. I will say that when you are wearing the shorts they start to feel looser the longer you are in them. They are kinda see though as well.But overall pretty nice.

I love these bike shorts and actually disagree with everyone saying to size up. I am 5ft 3 in, 130 lbs, and a medium is perfect. Glad I didn't listen to the reviews. They feel very quality and comfortable. A great elevated basic, as always with LA Apparel. Sadly, after maybe 10 wears, they started pulling apart at the seams. I'll have to either mend them or throw them out which is sad because they are so cute.

I bought the XL feeling like they might be tight and luckily I did because they are definitely on the smaller side. I am a muscular thick person and if I bend over you can see through. It's a bummer cause they are confortable and like them a lot, they can just be more true to size

The sizing is unusual - I always purchase XS or S for bottoms, and for this item I had to get a Medium, which still feels quite tight. The fabric and the waistband elastic are very good quality, but there is a stiffness to them which I wasn't expecting from a stretchy item where comfort is really important. The waistband really can be felt throughout the day. Maybe I should have gotten an L, but that seemed even more unusual sizing for me (waist 26 hip 36). I will wear them but was longing for something more soft and comfortable. Lastly: for 'bike' shorts, the length seems quite... short. They use 3 inches more in length so it's closer to the knee. This length feels more like regular shorts.
