As a 26” waist I went back and forth so many times on which size to order (S/M) but happy that I eventually went with an S! It’s just snug enough to hug the smallest part of my waist. Definitely no room for tucking anything in tho which is fine by me!

Like other reviews mention, it does run a bit small so you will probably want to size up by 1 size. I have a small waist but thicker thighs/bottom, I went with a medium and it fits great! It is a little short, which is cute and flirty but keep that in mind if you’re looking for something longer.

For reference I'm 5'10, 165 pounds, and a size 8. I'm normally a size medium in every store I shop in but after reading the reviews I was a bit concerned about the sizing so I purchased an XL and XXL in BLACK. The XL actually fit nice around the waist so I could tuck in some shirts! Since I went with the XL, the length was also decent since I am a bit tall. The quality of the skirt was thick, it's exactly the same as the og AA! Only issue is I wish that the sizing is true to size.
