As a Photo Model at Los Angeles Apparel, you’ll model our products, ranging from scrunchies, tees, sweats and swimwear. Your goal as a model is to embody the Los Angeles Apparel personality and aesthetic by maintaining a natural look in photoshoots to present the quality and style of our garments. You have to be prepared and adaptable to adjust to the team's needs.

A day in the life of a model may include:

  • Being punctual to maintain the photoshoot schedule
  • Maintain composure in a fast-paced setting while keeping energy and focus
  • Actively listen to the photographer’s and assistant’s directions
  • Taking part in quick test shoots to adjust garment presentation or styling

This will be an on-call, as needed position. Hours and scheduling will depend on volumes of work with a potential for recurring work based on performance. No prior experience is needed to apply for this position.

Assistant Store Manager

We are seeking a confident and reliable Assistant Store Manager to join our first retail location in South Central Los Angeles. This role supports the Store Manager in daily business operations and offers opportunities for growth into the role of Store Manager.

We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented, and motivated Flat Lay Photographer & Image Editor to join our creative team.


In this role, you will be responsible for shooting and/or editing professional-grade flat lay images.

Additionally, you will be expected to follow strict directions and meet deadlines.


A Day in the Life...


  • Garment Preparation: Organize, steam, press, and hang garments to ensure they are in perfect condition.
  • Layout: Capture flat lay images by hanging, pinning, and draping garments, Use fabric manipulation techniques to quickly adjust garments and create natural drapery.
  • Shooting: ensure every image is in focus, properly exposed, and shot from the correct angle.
  • Post productions: use of Photoshop to quickly edit images, adjusting shape, color, contrast, and brightness to create professional-quality images that accurately represent each garment.
  • Ensure that every image clearly reflects the true color, texture, and pattern of each garment.
  • Ensure that all images are Uniform in color, texture, and brightness.

  • Translates complex sets of data from many sources into actionable insights for the purpose of optimizing inventory levels, merchandise planning, and maximizing margins to improve financial performance

Requirements:

This role will report directly to the CFO and CEO, playing a crucial part in our financial operations and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in QuickBooks, multi-state sales tax reporting, and reconciliation processes (bank, credit card, lender loan and sales cycle). 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all accounting functions, including but not limited to general ledger maintenance, month-end close processes, financial reporting, fixed assets and long term leases
  • Supervise and assist with bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, lender loan reconciliations, and sales cycle reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Manage multi-state sales tax reporting using Avalara, ensuring timely and accurate submissions across jurisdictions
  • Enhance financial policies and procedures that improve operational efficiencies and compliance
  • Prepare financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations to the executive team
  • Prepare reports and documentation needed for internal and external audits
  • Foster a collaborative team environment and contribute to the professional development of finance staff

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, with a focus on controllership or similar roles
  • Proficient in QuickBooks and familiarity with multi-state tax reporting
  • Strong understanding of reconciliation processes and financial reporting standards
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

  • Maintain sales tax reporting and liaise with Avalara Consultancy
  • Interpret financial information and consult with management
  • Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
  • Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile Credit Card, House, and Factored receivables
  • Assist with all internal and external audits to ensure compliance
  • Support month-end and year-end close process
  • Ensure ledgers and supporting documents accurately reflect financial statements
    and performance
  • Review agency budgets for optimum financial effectiveness
  • Reviews and prepares bank reconciliations
  • Produces various monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Reviews and maintains general ledger and prepares general journals
  • Assist in the documentation of business
  • Help with audits and compliance requirements

Requirements:

  • 3+ years’ work experiences in accounting or finance management fields
  • Strong knowledge of accounting systems, principles, and practices
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or relevant work experience
