Unclear Description - Battery Usage

I really love the look of this watch—but unfortunately, it’s only as good as its battery, and mine arrived already running and nearly dead. When I contacted customer service, I received a confusing and unhelpful response: “the watches are vintage deadstock, some have batteries, some do not.” Nowhere in the product description is the watch described as vintage or deadstock, and mine still had the plastic protector on the face, so that explanation doesn’t add up. I expected better transparency and support. I would be wary of purchasing any watches from this site.
