Literally would fit a child

I ordered a larger size and this item would fit my 8 year old.

Strange Sizing

I like a snug turtleneck, but this one is a fail. The reviews say this garment runs small, so I purchased the next size up. It was still too small! I can barely get my head through the collar, it’s so tight. The sleeves are long enough but the torso needs at least another inch and a half to make it comfortable—it’s not quite a crop top, but not long enough to meet the waistband of my high waist jeans. I guess this cut just isn’t for tall people.

Quality product

12 months ago I purchased this shirt in white and amethyst. I have waited a year to review so I can speak on something that matters to me— quality of construction and of fabric. I approve! Both garments have stood up very well. They hold their own as wardrobe staples that are practical, comfortable, durable, and ethically sourced. As for sizing— check the sizing chart and believe it. I am 115lb 5’3” B-cup and purchased a small out of habit, even tho the garment dimensions seemed like the shirts might be snug. Had to exchange for medium because it was SKIN TIGHT. The exchange was a breeze and they covered shipping.

Sizing is off for the neck

I like this stretchy top but I think the problem is in the design of the neck- because the fabric is doubled, it sacrifices stretch, which is necessary for a turtleneck. I cut a slit in the seam at the back of the neck on the inside of the fabric so it doesn’t show, but releases some of the tension. This made it more wearable.

sizing is way off-

even the large fits like a small and the fabric is very resistant so it's not comfy to wear. Good quality but bad sizing.

Nice top

I am size small but had to exchange it to Size L because my head could not get through the hole of the turtle neck. It looked and felt like an item for a child. I was recommended by LA Apparel's rep to go to a size L. She was so right. The Size L fits me perfectly. I love the color yellow, the best! I liked it so much I ordered another one in yellow. It is good to have two just in case, but I am on the waitlist because the L is sold out. Now I know why, the L is the perfect fit for most.

Definitely size up

Not bad. I sized up and it's still on the tight side and super cropped. The reason I bought this was for basics for workwear- I can't really wear something this cropped. 5'7 btw I also bought this because the composition was the same as Everlane's micro knit pima cotton turtlenecks except this brand has more color variety. This feels MUCH more spandex-y than Everlane. not all cottons are the same. I will still make an effort to wear this because it is a $35 shirt and is comfy! i would not buy again tho
