The Tennis Skirt. An American Classic. Stylish, Sexy. Made from a soft gabardine, it flows just right while holding its pleats. This plaid skirt is fitted throughout the natural waist. This sophisticated style can be paired with hosiery during winter or go without for a classic schoolgirl-inspired outfit.

We recommend determining your waist size by measuring around the smallest part of  your torso. Skirt is made of tightly woven gabardine that runs small; we suggest sizing up if you desire more room.

Made in Los Angeles, Calif. Our experienced sewers earn up to $25 an hour and no less than $16; additionally workers have healthcare benefits for less than $15 per week, a 401k plan, paid sick days, subsidized bus passes and favorable overtime benefits.

Amazing quality, VERY SMALL

Great quality! Only gripe is the sizing is crazy—in other stuff by this brand I wear a small, and in this skirt I had to reorder a medium and honestly a large would have been better!

Exceptional quality, looks really good, for the tall galls too

This skirt is exceptional quality. The kind of item you will own forever. Doesn't feel like fast fashion. It's also a good height. I'm 5'10" and 170 lbs, and the skirt was a perfect length. Can't recommend enough. Will be buying more from this store

Plaid tennis skirt -- Nadine colorway

I'm 5'4, 25in waist and ordered sized M as I like skirts to sit lower on the waist, I'd definitely recommend doing that too if you want that. It fits perfectly, length is perf with a good amount of room for tucking in shirts / wearing shorts underneath etc, but still a cute silhouette. The skirt feels really well made and sturdy and is a new fav, props to the people who sewed it :-) Thank you!

Unmatched quality

You really get what you pay for with these skirts. The quality is insanely high and the fabric is thick and sturdy. The only downside is that the sizing runs extremely small. For example I am a UK 10/ generally a S/M and the large fits perfectly so definitely size up!

Classic skirt

These skirts are so nice and maintain their shape incredibly. It can be difficult to figure out your size if you are between sizes however. I have a 26" waist so I used to go for the Medium, but I didn't like how low it sat on my waist and how long it looked. So I finally purchased it in a small and it looks much better. It does sit higher on my waist and has a shorter appearance, but that is the fit I prefer.

So cute

It’s a good and sturdy material but there is not a lot of give to it!I fluctuate between medium and large so I went ahead and ordered a large and it was very tight. I went ahead and returned it and went one more size up(XL)and even that was still pretty tight. I made it work tho and it was super cute!

Cute!

I got the yellow plaid and I love it! It wasn't clear from the pictures but the plaid is kind of a dark blue/purple, not black like I'd expected. The fabric also feels stiffer than the solid color tennis skirts. So cute though, I love how flattering these skirts are.
