Very similar to the original 50/50. Fabric is a little heavier/thicker than an original AA 50/50 when help side by side. Still the best fitting for a guy with wide shoulders, long torso, and no belly. Most shirts that fit my shoulders and length are baggy like a garbage bag around the waist. These fit well and last a very long time even with repeated hot water washing and machine drying.

Obsessed with the shirt. It’s exactly like I remember American Apparel shirts being. My quest for an AA replacement and the perfect teeshirt is finally over. I couldn’t believe this brand has been around so long… until everything went wrong with my order. Eventually I received most of it. Still, ordering and shipping experience aside, the shirt is perfect.

Nearly identical to the originals, with slightly different texture of the fabric, perhaps, but still excellent. We'll see how this wears over time. Just the right length, just tight enough on the chest and arms without being too muscle-T looking. I have recently tried out many t-shirts, including tailored ones in the 40-60 price range, and these LA Apparel 50/50 shirts are the best fitting. 5'11" lean/fit 165lbs.

I have been wearing this shirt for over a decade and it is still the best in my opinion. I have attempted to be more on trend with the thick, short, boxy shirts but its just not my style. The 50/50 is and has always been the most comfortable shirt with the best drape. looks good on its own and isn't uncomfortable when layering. They also maintain shape and softness forever. I still have some in rotation from the American Apparel days. I am 185 lb. and 6' tall. I wear a Large in most shirts but I like this one to be a bit loose for a good drape. It is quite long before washing and drying but eventually shrinks to the perfect size for me. Thank you for not abandoning this shirt. I continued buying it from AA after the buyout ( or whatever happened ) but they let it go to ****. I never thought I would find it again then LAA rises from the ashes. I understand you want to move on from "this old dog" but please don't. Instead give me some more color options!

This classic T is just how I remember them being. Incredible super soft fabric and a nice fit, not too slim but certainly fitted. A perfect loungewear T.
