6.5oz Pigment Dye Crew Neck T-Shirt

Style 1801GD
$26.00

Introducing a one-of-a-kind pigment dyed version of our best-selling t-shirt. These custom-developed colors feature more depth than our regular garment dyed items and reveal the unique texture of our open-end cotton jersey. Made of 100% USA cotton, this textile is beefy, durable, and absorbent, and is virtually shrink free as a result of pigment dyeing. The garment is washed with natural enzymes, resulting in a broken-in feel, just like a T-shirt that was washed or worn for a decade or two. Its special features include its heavy and sturdy feel and combined with a more generous fit (about 1 wider on the flat than a contemporary T-shirt) and higher neck line.

Wash alone after first wear to prevent bleed-through in future washes.

Made in South Central, Los Angeles. Our experienced sewers earn up to an average of $20 an hour or more and no less than $15. Plus benefits and overtime.

This item is a garment dye product. Garment dye items can be distinguished by “GD” at the end of their style number, and will not match piece dye items (items without “GD” at the end of their style number). To learn more about the garment dye process, please click here

The *ONLY* t-shirts I wear!

Ever since American Apparel was bought by Gildan and shipped many of those jobs overseas, I was happy to discover that Dov Charney kept the original vision of AA going with Los Angeles Apparel. I absolutely *adore* the pastel colored shirts that they offer, and it is the *only* shirts I wear. The pastel colors are inspired by various colors in the architecture of Los Angeles and I've def begun to notice those colors more when out and about, just because of these shirts! I was surprised by seeing they expanded their offerings a bit on those colors with these pigment dyed shirts, and I got the rose quartz and patchouli shirts. I had an initial issue with the patchouli color, as mine was more of a brown-ish color than a faded mauve like in the pictures. Los Angeles Apparel was quick to offer a replacement free of charge! Also I noticed some discoloration with the rose quartz initially, and they also sent out a replacement as well, again free of charge. Los Angeles Apparel doesn't just go above and beyond with it's workers in paying/treating them well, they also do the same with their customers. I've even convinced my friend in Maine, in the other side of the country, to order some of these shirts too! 10/10 best American made shirts ever! The *only* negative thing I could say is sometime in 2020 they switched from using the historically white silk-like tags that have been around since the beginning of American Apparel to a cheaper paper tag. I *REALLY* hope they switch back to the quality tags they used to have, as those tags would often outlast the shirts themselves (even if you were able to **** one of the shirts) and was a testament to the overall quality of the brand/company.
